Being a Full Spectrum Doula, I often get asked about what exactly a Doula is and what the benefits of investing in a Doula are. Put simply, a Doula is a support person who cares for you in a non-medical capacity during your Pregnancy, Birth, & Postpartum. There is substantial evidence supporting the benefits of investing in a Doula and how Doula care can increase the chance of a Positive Birth & Postpartum Experience.
